The Enemy Gets A Vote

No one knows who first said "the enemy gets a vote." Perhaps it was Abel's last words to Cain, but who really knows? Regardless, those words remain as true today as they did millennia ago. Don't believe me? Then consider this.

You no doubt remember Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Mark Milley going behind President Trump's back and making secret phone calls to his Chinese counterpart General Li Zoucheng on October 30, 2020 and again on January 8, 2021. The purpose of the calls- which were a violation of the Logan Act, insubordination, and perhaps treasonous, not to mention just plain stupid- was to establish a channel of communications outside the chain of command between the two nations' Joint Chiefs; because if you believe the same intelligence communities who had been out to get Trump for the 6 years prior and the next 3 years after, China feared a US military attack if Trump lost the election.

In retrospect, that excuse is ludicrous, but in the swamp; it is par for the course. In fact, it is just another chapter in a long running story of covert cooperation between China and the US military leadership, of which the benefits all flowed one way- towards China.

Natalie Winters of "Firing Line" and "War Room" just broke a story that I want to reference and expound on.

Going back to the Clinton administration, there has been an ongoing secret dialogue between U.S. military leadership and the Chinese Communist Party's intelligence apparatus. The purpose? To share our nuclear secrets with a blacklisted Chinese Communist Party nuclear research center.

From the U.S. side, the list of participants reads like a who's who of senior military and intelligence personnel; including but not limited to Admiral Mike Mullen, who was former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs; Ernest Moniz, former Secretary of Energy; Admiral James Ellis, former Commander of the Strategic Command; and Sam Nunn, former GA senator and Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee. There are several other under-secretaries and deputy-secretaries of cabinet agencies, at least a dozen from agencies such as the State Department, NATO, the branches of the military, and the NSC, who were also involved.

Among the subjects discussed and disclosed to the Chinese were nuclear command and control, nuclear force posture, information about nuclear weapons systems, delivery system design and capability, post-launch destruction systems, early warning capability, and covert agreements on negotiation times and launch windows.

On July 26, 2011, Chaiman Mullen wrote an Op-Ed published in the New York Times titled "A Step Towards Trust With China" that advocated trusting China further in strategic matters. Mullen disclosed in the article that the Pentagon had shown the People's Liberation Army Chief Gen. Chen Binge detailed Predator drone capability and had given a step-by-step live demonstration of that capability. Also in attendance was senior personnel from the China Academy of Engineering and Physics, who incidentally have been under U.S. export and information sharing restrictions since 1997. The financing apparatus of this subversion was the China-U.S. Exchange Foundation and its subsidiary the Pacific International Exchange Foundation, which is wholly owned and financed by the Chinese Communist Party.

All of this is just a long winded, albeit extremely accurate and detailed, way of saying that our government has been giving away our military and nuclear secrets to China, and even maintaining back-channel communication outside the chain of command in violation of our laws.

So not only was our government overseeing and funding research of deadly pathogens in Chinese labs, which led to a worldwide pandemic and the deaths of over a million Americans and billions of dollars of lost wealth, our military and civilian military leadership was giving away our nuclear and high-tech military secrets for no consideration except the vague concept of "cooperation." The U.S. under Obama and Biden stood idly by as China built its ports strategy and the belt and road initiative. Our leadership allowed strategic alliances between China and our enemies in the middle east, particularly Iran, that has cost us blood and treasure yet again.

China is the biggest external threat to our nation- not Russia, not Iran, not North Korea, not Islamic terror groups- China is. Yet our leadership has given them the keys to our industry, our military, our science, our universities, our financial markets, and yes, our government.

Stories abound of Chinese interests buying up American farm land, especially farmland close to military installations, of Chinese police departments, Chinese birth tourism, Chinese spy balloons, Chinese market manipulation, Chinese spies in our halls of academia, and even this one which was reported this week which is almost so unbelievable as to be surreal... Chinese Communist Party Official Philip Qiu, who is trained as a sniper, bought a historic commercial building 650 feet from the White House. Take a deep breath and digest what I just said. A Chinese sniper just purchased a commercial building 650 feet from the White House.

Why are we allowing this to happen? Why are we allowing any of the things I have mentioned to happen? Is our government compromised, bribed, working as Chinese foreign agents? Or are we just stupid, overcome by liberal suicidal empathy that impels the supposedly best and brightest among us to just give away everything to our enemies?

The Chinese have been very upfront and open about their plan- the 100-year plan- which has two basic goals. First, to build the most prosperous economy on earth. Second, to transform China into a "great modern socialist country," surpassing the U.S. militarily, economically, and culturally. Read Michael Pillsbury's book "The Hundred-Year Marathon," apparently none of our supposed best and brightest have. The Chinese could not have been any clearer.

Sun Tzu wrote the following, "Hence to fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence. Supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting."

My question to you is this, why aren't the people we elected, hired, and entrusted with our national security demonstrating supreme excellence? Why is it only the Chinese? And what happened to American exceptionalism, the Spirit of 1776, and the greatness of a nation and its people that is undefeated, back-to-back world war champions that put men on the moon?

If you ever wondered why they hate Trump, Hegseth, and YOU so badly, wonder no more. Like the anonymous quote I cited earlier, the enemy really does get a vote. Let's hope it's not the final vote.
