Sovereignty Is Not Negotiable

Let's go back in the not so way back machine to October 1, 2024, when Iran launched over 200 ballistic missiles at Israel, at that time the largest deployment of ballistic missiles in history, supposedly in retaliation for Israel's taking out a Hamas leader, a Hezbollah leader, and an Iran Republican Guard general.

Israeli PM Netanyahu called it a "big mistake" and vowed that Iran would "pay dearly for it."

Well, last night, the check came due. Operation Rising Lion caught the Iranians completely off guard and obliterated Iran's air defenses, their nuclear facilities, their command and control facilities, the top 4 generals in the Iranian military, and took out more than 20 of the most senior Revolutionary Guard commanders who were meeting in a secret underground bunker with the head of Iran's air force.

Apparently, the Mossad acquired land inside of Iran using shadow companies, and built a secret drone base inside Iran territory. The drones were deployed to attack ballistic missile facilities near Tehran, which went a long way towards inhibiting Iran's ability to strike back. In addition, the following countries assisted Israel in intercepting Iranian missiles and drones as they tried to retaliate: The US, UK, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Jordan, Turkey, and the UAE. Syria allowed Israeli war planes to refuel over and in their nation.

Also, vehicles carrying weapons systems were smuggled into Iran and deployed to wipe out Iran's air defenses, which gave the Israelis almost free reign to attack what they needed to in Iran virtually with impunity.

As cool as "Operation Grim Beeper" was last September, this was even better. It is one thing to wipe out the leadership of a couple of terror groups, it is quite another thing to do it to a nation under a theocratic dictatorship with one of the strongest militaries in the world.

So how does this affect us here in the US? And what can we learn from it?

Iran was as strong as they were, as dangerous as they were, and as big a threat to the civilized world as they were because of one thing: American appeasement. From our weak and feckless diplomacy, to useless and toothless nuclear negotiations, to Iranian sympathizers like Valerie Jarrett in the highest halls of power, to Barack Obama's pallet with $400 million in cash and the $1.3 billion direct transfer from the US Treasury to Iran for "interest payments" two days later, to Joe Biden's $100 billion of sanctions relief, our federal government- particularly under democrat administrations- created the dangerous conditions and funded the threat that Israel was forced to attack.

Now we have a new president, Donald Trump, and a new administration, who correctly judged that Iran's Islamic neighbors don't want a nuclear holocaust and World War 3 in their back yard, that they desire to get along with their neighbors, and most of all, they want to get rich, and you don't get rich by being in a constant state of danger with rogue regimes funding terrorists who blow up everything in the neighborhood. In less than 5 months, Trump stopped the flow of money to the weird beards and brought their neighbors to the table, forming a coalition of the willing that policed the neighborhood. And you didn't hear anything out of the Russians and Chinese, both of whom Trumped talked to in the days leading up to the attack. Imagine that.

As we've said so many times, American appeasement is weakness and weakness leads to chaos, disorder, and strife. American strength leads to freedom, peace, and creates wealth.

Unfortunately, the Middle East is not the only place where American appeasement has created chaos. American appeasement has created a very dangerous situation inside our own borders as well. By failing to enforce our immigration laws, by using our tax dollars both above and under the table to import unvetted illegal aliens into our country, by allowing malign governments access to our universities, by allowing the Chinese to send spies into our country and buy companies and real estate particularly near military bases, our government has created a situation where a military attack could easily happen here in the US.

The enemy is within our borders, brought in by the federal government, funded by our tax dollars, protected by activist judges and corrupt politicians, and is plotting our demise. The Chinese had a bird's eye view of it with their spy balloon that we were too feckless and weak to shoot down, instead of letting it traverse the breath of the nation, and over several military installations.

As you watch the "No Kings" protests this weekend and the riots in our major cities where democrats reign, remember that those responsible have intentionally imported danger and brought it to our front door. The foreign actors, Marxist activists, corporate interests, democrat politicians, corrupt judges, and the potential sleeper cells they created, protected, and nurtured are a far more immediate threat to our country than any foreign military. They are intentionally breaking our laws and threatening the safety and sovereignty of our nation, shoving it unabashedly in our face, and making us pay for it.

Israel's military and espionage operations are great because their very survival depends on it. They have to be great. Does the same thing not apply to us in our body politic and inside our borders? Or are we going to just stand by and let it be taken away because they said so?

President Trump isn't, and we the people voted for our laws to be enforced and sovereignty restored when we elected him. We voted for and demand American strength both here and abroad. He needs us now more than ever. We need him more than ever. We can not and must not continue to be governed in the lawless, feckless manner in which we were from 2021 to 2025.

As Margaret Thatcher said in 1988, "Sovereignty is not negotiable." It isn't in Israel, and it isn't here. Make America Safe Again.
