RINO's, Corruption, and the Status Quo

Sponsored by: Patriot Home Funding

Watching the last week in legislatures around the country, both federal and state, has been like watching a reality show where one side has 100% buy in to their goals and executes with ruthless precision while the other side is a cowering, capitulating, cowardly, textbook example of how corruption and status quo matters more than the voice of the voters.

This week, the state of New York legislature advanced Senate Bill S9316 that is now headed to Governor Kathy Hochul's desk. The bill eliminates the use of the words "mother" and "father," instead replacing them with "gestating" and "non-gestating" parent. The words "parenting" and "filiation," which is the legal familial relationship that exists between parent and child, will be changed to "parentage." In family court proceedings, the "putative father," or purported father of a child, would be changed to "alleged parent."

The rationalization of such lunacy, which seems almost like a social media meme joke rather than actual law, is to change to "gender neutral language," that would "reflect the realities of same sex couples, adoptive families, surrogacy arrangements, and other family structures," according to the bill's sponsor, Democrat Luis Sepulveda. Hochul has until June 12 to either sign the bill or veto it. When she signs it, which is a fate accompli, the bill will take effect starting November 1.

In Oregon, a petition to add a ballot measure for the November election which required 117,173 valid signatures, has garnered over 125,000 signatures, and counting. The ballot measure is called the PEACE Act, which is short for People for the Elimination of Animal Cruelty Exemptions Act.

If the bill passes, and there are all indications it will, the bill would grant the same legal protections from intentional injury or killing of non-human animals including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish that companion pets like cats and dogs have. Or to put it another way, the bill would outlaw all hunting, fishing, and trapping. It would outlaw all commercial livestock farming, slaughtering, and ranching. Standard animal breeding practices, which every livestock farmer engages in, would now be redefined as sexual assault. The only legal exemptions under the law would be for practicing veterinarians and self-defense.

In Colorado, a bill just passed the state senate by a vote of 37-27 changing indecent exposure laws when a minor under the age of 15 is the victim, from a misdemeanor to a felony. Seems like a no-brainer, right? Flashing or showing one's junk to children under 15 should be statutory rape and a felony, right? Well, not to 27 democrats in Colorado, who stated that the bill would cause harm to drag shows, transgender performers, or those in restrooms that are not their birth gender but rather the gender they identify as.

Regardless of how evil, sick, unconstitutional, or damaging a piece of legislation might be, democrats stick together and get what they want, even if it is not what the voters want.

Now contrast that to Republicans.

As you have no doubt heard, the SAVE America Act failed last night as an amendment to the DHS funding package. Four RINO Republicans refused to listen to and follow their voters who support the bill by a 9-1 factor, and President Trump, who has stated that this is his highest legislative priority.

Let's examine the four a little more closely... starting with RINO Thom Tillis from NC. Tillis is forfeiting his seat that he has held for two terms. In April, his state of North Carolina found 34,000 dead people on their voter rolls. Also, North Carolina has codified almost all of the voter ID and security measures put forth by the SAVE Act. So, you'd think the yes vote would be a slam dunk, seeing how his state uncovered mass fraud and already has the ID requirements which his constituents enacted? Right?

Then we have RINO Lisa Murkowski from Alaska, the senate nepo baby who is in office only because of the democrat construct called rank choice voting. You may remember that she voted with Obama 72% of the time and was censured by the Alaska GOP over her vote in favor of impeaching Trump. Alaska has massive mail in vote numbers in the last two senate elections, which don't require ID or signature verification. The beneficiary? Murkowski, of course. She wouldn't be a senator without it.

How about Eeyor, also known as Mitch McConnell? Here's your homework assignment. Pull up YouTube, then search for Mitch McConnell speaking in support of voter ID. You'll find literally dozens of videos where McConnell is on the record, both on the senate floor and media, of supporting and advocating the exact same thing he voted against last night.

That leaves Susan Collins, who is in her 29th year in the senate and up for re-election against a literal Nazi. Collins is the walking, talking, breathing personification of a RINO. Heritage Action has given her a lifetime conservative score of 24. The average GOP senator is 73. Her Freedom Index score is 39. How bad is that? Well, she is only 13 points better than Bernie Sanders and 17 better than AOC, and 48 points worse than Cory Mills just for some perspective. She is now going to ask the same Trump voters she dissed to save her political career in November. Oh, the irony...

Just as an aside, Ana Eskamani's Freedom Score is 10, which means she is far to the left of Bernie Sanders and AOC and in the lowest 10th percentile of all elected representatives both state and federal, nationwide. Orlando, you are headed for a massive train wreck if you elect her mayor. Just sayin.....

As it stands now, 223 out of the 269 electoral votes required to win the presidency do not require voter ID. 189 out of the 218 house seats required to garner the gavel do not require Voter ID, and 34 out of the 51 seats required for control of the senate do not require voter ID. As Joe Biden said in 2022, "The struggle is no longer just over who gets to vote or making it easier for eligible people to vote, it is about who gets to count the votes, and whether they should count at all." That's absolutely correct and about the only cogent and true thing the old codger ever said.

The deep state and democrats know that in order to keep permanent control of Capitol Hill and by extension We the People, they only need a handful of RINO's in both houses on their side; and they have them in both houses, as was evidenced by the 4 congressmen who sided with the democrats to basically kneecap Trump with the war powers vote while he is negotiating with Iran over nuclear weapons and the world's energy economy as well as the SAVE Act.

That's why the democrats always get everything they want, and conservatives get almost nothing, even when the numbers suggest we have majorities in both houses and control of all three branches of government. That's why our streets are filthy, our homes are broken, our population is fat and dumb, and our churches are empty. We've been lied to and sold out. The founders of this country went to war over far less than what our supposed representatives, who are actually our rulers, have done to us.

Has any GOP senator called out his colleagues for thumbing the GOP voters in the eye, over and over again, or even just once like last night? And how about all the GOP senators who gaveled in the two-minute pro forma sessions with the sole intent of keeping Trump from filling out his government with his nominees. Both of our senators did, has anybody asked them why?

Imagine going in the way back machine and having a conversation with your grandparents who were born in the late 1800's, which is the case for me, and telling them that our government is $39 trillion upside down, trannies were flashing children on the lawn of the White House, that gay marriage was recognized equally as a marriage in the church, and that citizens of other countries were getting welfare and voting in our elections. Yeah, that's the nation we live in, that they fought, sacrificed, and in some cases died to give us.

On Sept. 17, 1787, Elizabeth Willing Powel asked Ben Franklin on the steps of Independence Hall, "Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic, or a monarchy?" Franklin immediately replied, "A republic, if you can keep it..." Meaning it is fragile, and requires moral integrity, wisdom, and active buy in of the people to survive. Ben Franklin knew. The question I ask today is, do we?
