In the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson stated that governments are "instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed." That consent of We The People is our social contract, where we have agreed to democratically elect our representatives, to pass laws on our behalf, and construct and maintain an apparatus for enforcement of those laws. We have mutually agreed to give up a portion of the wealth we create and generate to finance the operation of a legitimate, honest government. But what happens when some of those representatives ignore the rule of law, loot the public treasury to finance crime, and then threaten those who actually are honoring their constitutional oath? Then the social contract that is the foundation of our republic and society is broken.
The modern day democrat party specifically and the left in general, has unilaterally decided that the social contract does not apply to them, that they will flagrantly flout the laws that were legally passed and enacted, that they will raid the public treasury- which is stealing your wealth- to finance the criminality, that they will recruit local law enforcement in municipalities to assist them, and they will use the levers of power at their disposal federally to assist with the criminality.
What is happening in the sanctuary cities and states is criminal. Forget January 6, the real insurrection is happening in Minneapolis, New York, Chicago, Columbus, Ohio, and in California right now.
Many of you listening are driving home from your jobs, where you woke up early this morning and traded a day of your life for the money to support your family. You own a home, you pay your bills, you pay your taxes, you are a law-abiding citizen. You are doing everything right, but you are falling behind certain political constituencies and criminal enterprises who are breaking the laws that we all agreed to in an attempt to change the demographics of our nation, redistribute its wealth, and eventually overthrow its political and governmental apparatus. That is what a real insurrection is, and when violence or the threat of violence is used to affect political change, that is terrorism.
What has come to light in Minnesota recently is happening all over the country; Minnesota is just the flashpoint. I'm hard pressed to find a bigger threat to federalism, perhaps the civil rights crusade of the 1960's, since the civil war. The modern-day democrat party is unapologetically out of touch with normal, law-abiding American citizens, and that to have any hope of retaining power, have launched a multi-front war against the majority of the citizens and laws of our country.
The message is very clear because of their actions. Democrats have fraudulently administered the census and gerrymandered voting districts to create a more favorable electoral map. They have unconstitutionally changed local election laws to add votes more favorable to them. They have illegally imported millions of illegal aliens into the country. They have flouted local, state, and federal law to establish sanctuaries for the criminality. They have raided the public treasury for funds to finance the criminality; and when the American people went to the ballot box and said enough is enough and voted for mass deportations, audits, and vigorous law enforcement, democrats said the laws don't apply to them and have unleashed literal illegal criminal militias, financed with your tax dollars and organized with public apparatus, to harass and intimidate law enforcement, politicians, and yes, YOU the citizens who are doing everything by the book. And they have a network of legal counsel to defend it and activist judges who have no problem in legislating from the bench to support the insurrection. Their propaganda media lies to you about the intent and actively protects the criminality by demagoguing the lawful and rationalizing the unlawful.
During the Biden administration, the DOJ manufactured new case law in employing seditious conspiracy charges against the January 6 defendants, many of whom, like some of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, were never in Washington DC and did not engage in any violent behavior. But they were ensnared in the narrative and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the newly nuanced law. Compare that with the current sanctuary state and city politicians, NGO's and their activist militias. How far are the Trump administration and DOJ willing to go to quash this very real insurrection, especially given that the Biden DOJ and left-wing federal judges have given them case law precedent?
In 1860, many states staged an insurrection to enslave a minority. In 2026, many states are staging an insurrection to enslave the majority.
So, all of this raises several questions that will chart the future course of our nation. Number one, will the social contract break? Has it already broken? Will the lawful majority turn on the unlawful minority and reassert the rights and wealth that the minority have stolen? Will our elected representatives stand up for the majority and do what is necessary to restore the rights of the majority and the rule of law in the states and municipalities who are staging the insurrection? How far is the Trump administration willing to go to restore the rule of law and quash the insurrection? And do We the People, the lawful majority, truly love our country, our constitutional republic, our culture, our way of life, enough to stand up and demand decisive action be taken? Will We the People hold those in power accountable? And will our social contract be restored?
