I caught a post on X this morning that really captured a lot of my thoughts so I want to credit the account called "MAGA MomMom1776" for the idea and inspiration.

Since March 2020, everything in this country- and the world- has changed. Perhaps it was really earlier, in 2016 when Trump announced his campaign for president, or in 2009, when Obama became president. Regardless of the origin, I have experienced hostility on the part of some family, friends, and business contacts purely on the basis of my political beliefs, and I bet you have too. That rarely, if ever, happened before. It is like our nation entered a 21st century version of the Twilight Zone. That's just the start. Since COVID hit our shores in March 2020....

If a man pretends to be a woman, we are required to pretend with him, allow him to use the ladies' room with female children present, and play women's sports. Or else you are a bigot and misogynist.

The census is not allowed to count how many Americans there are in America. If you think otherwise, you are a racist.

Russians influencing our elections is bad. Chinese influencing our elections is good. Requiring identification and proof of citizenship to vote is bad; but illegal aliens and non-citizens voting in our elections is good. If you think otherwise, you are a bigot, a nationalist, and election denier.

It was perfectly okay for Joe Biden to bribe the President of Ukraine, but it was an impeachable offense for President Trump to investigate it. If you think otherwise, you are an insurrectionist.

People who have never owned slaves should be required to pay reparations to people who never were slaves, and don't know anybody who has ever been a slave. If you think otherwise, you are racist.

People who didn't go to college should pay for the debts of people who went to college and took out thousands of dollars of loans to finance their 'education.' If you think otherwise, you're ignorant and low class.

Illegal aliens with tuberculosis and polio are welcome to walk into the country with no medical screening and no vaccination requirement, but your children and dogs must be vaccinated. If you think otherwise, you are a vaccine denier and a danger to the public.

Doctors, scientists, and engineers from developed nations must go through a rigorous and expensive process to immigrate to the US, but illiterate gang-banging criminals are free to walk across the border. Enforcing the immigration laws is racist and Border Patrol and ICE are Nazis. If you think otherwise, you are a racist and a bigot.

If you want to legally adopt a child from a poverty stricken or war-torn foreign country, you must go through an expensive and rigorous screening process. But, if you are a foreign national, cross the border, and give birth, your child is a US citizen and you and all your family get to stay and get welfare, free housing, and free healthcare. If you think otherwise, you are evil and have no compassion.

$5 billion for a border wall is seen as too expensive, but $1.5 trillion+ for free health care is not. If you think otherwise, you are a racist, a nationalist, and soulless.

If you cheat to get into college or buy a house, you go to prison, but if you enter the country illegally, you get free college and free housing.

The same people who can't define what a woman is are demanding we elect a female president. If you point out the hypocrisy, you are a misogynist.

While some of us are held responsible for what happened before we were born, others use that same guilt trip to avoid accountability for the crimes they are committing right now.

Criminals are caught and released to hurt and kill more people, but prosecuting and locking them up is bad because it is a violation of THEIR rights. If you think otherwise, you are an oppressor.

The hypocrisy I just described is a result of a long-term plan by the left to divide us, indoctrinate us, and elicit guilt through the education system, popular culture, and media.... And most importantly, make rational, educated debate impossible. Our system of government is an adversarial system that revolves around spirited, but civil, debate between a just and educated people. But how can the people be just or educated when they are bombarded daily with propaganda telling them how bad they are, how evil their ancestors were, and that they are hateful if they don't believe what the "mainstream" says they should? Or if they are in effect "shadow banned" because the media refuses to cover certain stories and social media algorithms censure the news and certain views?

The man who told the world that he was "The Science" had to be pardoned of his crimes against humanity and couldn't answer any questions in a congressional hearing because of fear of self-incrimination. Why? It is due to the fact that his journal and e-mail communications on a government server were legally released by HHS Secretary RFK, Jr. Unfortunately, half the nation has no clue it even happened and many still think Fauci is some kind of hero.

The islands of Ceuta and Millela, which are sovereign Spanish territory, are being overrun by African migrants, to the tune of a quarter million of them in two days, and the Spanish government really doesn't care. Half of our nation doesn't even know it. Why is it important? Because the EU just passed a law in June that member nations MUST take in foreign migrants that overflow another member nation, or pay a fine of 20,000 Euros per migrant that they refuse to accept. So, a crisis for one nation is a crisis for all nations. Meloni of Italy has said she won't take any and the French have activated their military. And may I remind you that 5 EU nations have nuclear weapons on their soil? Do you think it is a big deal if they are being invaded by Muslims and criminals? A lot of the media apparently doesn't.

Two weeks ago yesterday, the president gave a bombshell speech outlining foreign interference in multiple elections, an issue that hits at the heart of our republic. But most of the media didn't carry it, and those that did mention it accused the president of lying and in fact countered the evidence with lies and propaganda to diffuse the situation, and paint the president as unhinged, and a bitter loser.

They could not understand the interview now being given to them." Sound familiar?

George Orwell wrote, "The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command."

When the media controls the information you see, they control what you believe.

When they control what you believe, they control your mind.

When they control your mind, they control your emotions.

When they control your emotions, they control your actions.

When they control your actions, you are no longer in control.

When you are not in control, you are not yourself and you belong to them.

When you belong to them, they have won.
